Had absolutely amazing time at this luxury villa in Bali! There is a big number of villas you can rent in Bali, and we spent few weeks trying to find the best one. We are very happy we chose Villa Ambra, this beautiful beachfront villa. One of the best villas in Bali, if you ask me! Wonderful location, stunning villa and very friendly stuff.

Having been a travel agent for 20 years now i have been fortunate enough to experience many levels/types of luxury accommodation throughout the world and I must say that everything about my stay at Villa Ambra was simply wow and one of the best experiences I've had. The villa itself with its superb beachfront location had 5 amazing ocean-facing large bedrooms all with gorgeous big bathrooms and superb decor, a study/library complete with hundreds of books and games, a large cinema room, table tennis and massage room. The villa is build perfectly to make use of all the space and provide you with many options to enjoy every corner... you have the sunken lounge where you can enjoy the sunset with a cocktail in hand, the big adult pool where the whole family can spend hours on end floating around on the inflatable toys or doing laps, the spa and most importantly the kids infinity pool at the top which is perfect if you are travelling with young children as the main outside meal area is right there and you can keep a good eye on them(our 5 year olds spent most of their time in there or in the spa). A pool fence can be provided if need be. Enjoy the free homemade sorbet and ice-creams.. the best I have ever tasted!! But this in itself is not what made this particular villa experience wow.... as perfect as the villa was it was the food and the staff that took it to yet another level. Putu the villa manager was there to greet us on the first day and then popped in everyday after that to say hello and check in on things. There were also another 18 staff members that kept the villa in immaculate condition (must say they had their work cut out for them with our 4 children running riot at times) and look after all our needs. They were so discrete and most of the time we never saw them unless they were playing with the kids or preparing for our next meal, bringing a delicious smoothie, coffee... what ever we needed... nothing was too much trouble. We had a bell if we needed anything but we didn't need to use it as they had the amazing knack of knowing exactly when we were about to ask for something even before we did!! They were all so friendly and spoke great English. Another thing that made this so unforgettable were the chef’s!!! The food prepared for us (which we picked from their menus) was nothing short of extraordinary!! Every single meal from salads, Asian nights, seafood nights, bbq nights, desserts etc was outstanding and some of the best I have ever had. We didn't want to leave the villa for meals as we had the best right there. We also had our own driver for up to 8hrs a day which we didn't need as we didn't want to leave the villa but the few times we did use them they were so accommodating. The complex also had a gym and tennis court which is great and they were happy to organise a yoga class which you could have a private class on the beach front grass area in the villa. The other great thing which was a big bonus for my husband was the surf break right out the front. He would wake up before anyone else, be presented with a coffee before he hit the waves and then back for a buffet breakfast and massage! If you want a luxury getaway whether its for a few friends, families or corporate then I cannot recommend Villa Ambra highly enough. My trips from here on in to Bali will not be complete without at least a few nights back at Villa Ambra.
