Stayed at Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel so tried out the spa in the hotel. As an in-house guest, we were offered 10% discount on the spa during normal hours and a Happy Hour 20% discount for massages between 8am to 12nn. As long as we arrived just before 12, we'll be entitled to this discount and so we did, clocking in at 11.58am & paid S$38 for an hour of full body Swedish massage. The massage included a Blue Pea welcome drink and ended with a herbal drink (awful ginger tea) and local snacks (gem biscuits and banana chips). Clean environment, comfortable and excellent service and massage. Would have loved to do one daily if not for the long tours during the rest of the trip.

The spa was a fantastic experience, we we were staying at the Marriott it was very convenient. The one hour aromatherapy massage was one of the best I've had in a long time with many thanks to Lina my masseuse!

Spa experience is good and comfortable. The therapists are skilled and friendly. The only downside is that the spa doesn't award Bonvoy points as they are a separate entity from Marriott Hotel.

Considering its a luxury hotel , the price is reasonable . 20 percent off for the overnight guest .

We opted for the Couple Treatment Room and indulged in their signature Traditional Javanese Spa treatment. From the moment we stepped into the spa, we were enveloped in a serene and calming atmosphere that immediately set the tone for ultimate relaxation. The treatment room was spacious, beautifully designed, and perfectly set up for a couple’s experience. The decor blended modern luxury with traditional Javanese elements, creating a tranquil environment that felt both intimate and sophisticated. The therapists were highly skilled and attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect throughout the session. The Traditional Javanese Spa treatment was incredible. It began with a soothing foot ritual that instantly relaxed us, followed by a massage using traditional techniques that melted away tension and stress. The aromatic oils used during the treatment added to the experience, with their calming scents enhancing the overall sense of relaxation. The pressure was just right, tailored to our preferences, and the therapists’ techniques were flawless—every movement felt purposeful and healing. What made this experience even more special was the little touches, like the warm herbal tea served at the end of the treatment and the serene post-treatment lounge where we could unwind further. The attention to detail and genuine care from the staff made it clear that Quan Spa prioritizes creating an exceptional and personalized experience for every guest. If you’re staying at the Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel or even just visiting the area, I cannot recommend Quan Spa enough. Whether you’re looking for a solo escape or a romantic couple’s retreat, the experience here is unparalleled. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and already planning our next visit!
